Wrought Iron - Dragon Scale Mug

Handmade ceramic mug using grey speckled stoneware. 
Measures 8.5cmW x 10cmH, holds approx 400mls ish (~13oz)

Inspired by the Empyrean Series, but for this round, I've added lightning strikes using gold lustre and fired the mugs for a third time. Every scale is carved individually, and finished using glazes that tend to "break" or float over texture, resulting in another colour or shade. 
Mugs with the lightning strike design cannot be microwaved. Still dishwasher safe, but for longevity, I strongly recommend handwashing this vessel.
