Dragon Scale

Inspired by one of my favourite book series I read this year, Fourth Wing/The Empyrean series - every scale is carved individually, and finished using glazes that tend to "break" or float over texture, resulting in another colour or shade. Each mug also has a different pattern and distribution of scales for that contrast in texture.
